London – A delegation from various Palestinian institutions has traveled to London to take part in the “Building Hope” conference, organized by the CADFA Abu Dis Foundation. The conference aims to foster cultural and community cooperation with several British institutions.
During their visit, the delegation will tour multiple UK cities, holding meetings and discussions with academic institutions and civil society organizations. The goal is to strengthen relationships and exchange expertise in the fields of development, culture, and education.
Speaking on the significance of the visit, Mr. Amjad Al-Rfai, President of the Askar Association for Community Development and Advancement, stated:
“This visit is a valuable opportunity to enhance communication between the Palestinian and British communities while shedding light on Palestinian issues from a cultural and societal perspective. Through this conference, we seek to establish strategic partnerships with British institutions to support development efforts within Palestinian refugee camps.”
The delegation’s program includes a series of events such as panel discussions, workshops, and cultural performances, highlighting Palestinian heritage and the role of civil society organizations in preserving national identity. Additionally, they will meet with British officials and key figures who support the Palestinian cause.
Participants hope that the visit will lead to meaningful future collaborations, resulting in developmental, educational, and cultural projects that benefit the Palestinian community. Furthermore, they aim to raise international awareness about the Palestinian cause and its ongoing challenges.
لندن – توجه وفد من مؤسسات فلسطينية إلى العاصمة البريطانية لندن للمشاركة في مؤتمر “بناء الأمل”، الذي تنظمه مؤسسة كادفا أبو ديس، وذلك بهدف تعزيز التعاون الثقافي والمجتمعي مع عدد من المؤسسات البريطانية
وسيقوم الوفد بزيارة عدة مدن بريطانية لعقد لقاءات واجتماعات مع جهات أكاديمية ومؤسسات مجتمع مدني، بهدف توطيد العلاقات وتبادل الخبرات في مجالات التنمية والثقافة والتعليم
وفي هذا السياق، صرّح السيد أمجد الرفاعي، رئيس جمعية عسكر للتنمية والتطوير المجتمعي، قائلًا
ان هذه الزيارة تمثل فرصة حقيقية لتعزيز التواصل بين المجتمع الفلسطيني والبريطاني، وتسليط الضوء على القضايا الفلسطينية من منظور مجتمعي وثقافي. نهدف من خلال هذا المؤتمر إلى بناء شراكات استراتيجية مع المؤسسات البريطانية، بما يسهم في دعم جهود التنمية داخل مخيمات اللاجئين الفلسطينيين
ويشمل برنامج الوفد الفلسطيني سلسلة من الفعاليات، بما في ذلك جلسات حوارية، وورش عمل، وعروض ثقافية، تسلط الضوء على التراث الفلسطيني ودور مؤسسات المجتمع المدني في تعزيز الهوية الوطنية، بالإضافة إلى لقاءات مع مسؤولين بريطانيين وشخصيات داعمة للقضية الفلسطيني
ويأمل المشاركون أن تسفر الزيارة عن تعاون مستقبلي مثمر، يسهم في تنفيذ مشاريع تنموية وتعليمية وثقافية تخدم المجتمع الفلسطيني، وتعزز من وعي المجتمع الدولي بالقضية الفلسطينية وتحدياتها
