Sheffield, UK – Amjad Al-Rifai, the head of the Askar Association for Development and Community Improvement, met with the Mayor of Sheffield and leaders of British political parties to brief them on the escalating Israeli actions in the West Bank, including raids, land confiscations, and home demolitions.
Mr. Amjad Al-Rfai also warned of the humanitarian consequences of the Israeli Knesset’s decision to halt the operations of UNRWA, urging the international community to pressure Israel to safeguard Palestinian rights.
In response, British officials expressed their concern, reaffirming their commitment to human rights and the need to continue supporting Palestinian refugees.
